UAE’s Premier Road Cycling Championship – crowning Emirati and Expatriate Champions

Created and managed by Onside Sports in association with the UAE Cycling Federation (the governing body of Cycling in the UAE), sanctioned by the UAE Cycling Federation, the annual Dubai Eye 103.8 UAE Road Cycling Championship takes place during the last quarter of each year.

Acknowledged as the ‘UAE’s Nationals’, the premier amateur cycling event on UAE Cycling Federation’s calendar, the Championship is open to all competent amateur cyclists, with age division categories for 16 years and over. The main categories crowned at each stage were; Emirati Male – Open, Emirati Male – Social, Expatriate Male and Expatriate Female.

Overall UAE Road Cycling Championship Champions (from each category) were awarded after the final stage, which was held in Dubai, at Dubai Sports City.

2018/2019’s season boasted FOUR stages; 2 climbs, 1 ITT and 1 road race. October 12th will host the Mai Dubai 77km Kalba Climb, October 26th the Oakley Individual Time Trial, November 9th Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Authority’s 63km Jebel Jais Climb, and December 7th Dubai Sports City 103.8km road race.
